Prices are still rising
I am sure that all of you are tired of seeing the words price increase, in fact it has been suggested that I don’t even mention it. I personally think your all sharp enough to notice when it happens so why not just be up front with you. Prices have gone up every time that we place an order for anvils. Whether it is a direct increase from the factory or an indirect increase due to rising cost of shipping or customs fees. You will notice an increase on every anvil we stock, we are sorry to have to do it but there is no choice. I would also like to let you know that our supplier will only guaranty these prices until June so you can bet they will probably go up again.
We have always tried to offer you the highest quality products at the lowest possible prices, and that will never change. We have truly shrunk our profit margins in order to keep any price increase to a minimum, but lets be honest we have to make a profit or we won't be in business for long, and the Postville Blacksmith Shop (Owner of Old World Anvils) has been doing business in the same location since 1856!
