New Edge of the Anvil : A Resource Book...
This book has one of the best sections on the heat treatment
of steel tools of any other book I've seen. This is for people
who don't want to become a metallurgist, but want to properly
heat treat their own home made edged tools: chisels, punches,
hammers etc. It has beautiful drawings by the author, a former
employee of the famous Yellin Metalworks in Philadelphia, PA. One
of the few books that discusses flypresses and their uses. A
wonderful book and a true labor of love by the author.
