The following information will assist you in obtaining a quote on shipping your item to the terminal nearest you or your commercial address.
- Items over 150 pounds are shipped FedEx Freight.
- Items under 150 pounds are shipped UPS Ground or FedEx; whichever is least expensive.
- Call Us for a rate quote on items under 150 pounds.
Shipping Quotes are good for 7 days. The trucking companies keep raising the diesel fuel surcharge, so please confirm your shipping quote with me before you send any money.
Your shipping cost is based on pickup at the nearest terminal location or to a commercial address. There is a surcharge to ship to a residential address.
All of my customers have either picked up their anvils at the terminal or made arrangements to a commercial address. You can use a gas station or storage company and they'll usually accept delivery for you for free or charge a nominal fee.
Please be advised that the FedEx shipping calculator is an approximation. The shipping calculator will give you a fairly good estimate, however all shipping prices must be confirmed in an email from me. Please don't send any money until we confirm the actual shipping costs.
To determine the cost of shipping east of Denver go to this site below and use 60 as the class and the discount is 60%. My zip code is 53516, type your zip code into the proper location on the web page of Fed EX Freight.
Note: This is for FedEX Freight Deliveries to points in Denver, CO and points east. West of this point, email me, and I'll get you a shipping quote.
- From the top of the FedEx home page, select the link titled "Rates"
- Enter the Zip Code of 53516 for the origin zip code
- Enter your Zip Code for the destination zip code
- Enter Class 60 in the Class option location
- Add 10 pounds to the weight of your anvil and enter the total into the weight location (this will cover the extra packaging on each anvil)
- Enter 60 into the discount location on the web page
- Click on the submit button
- A new web page will appear and you will have your shipping cost
Handling Charges
There are no handling charges. You only pay for the actual shipping costs to your location.
